Default Can you drill a hole in a LED "Corbin style" blade?

I am wondering if you could drill a hole in a LED "Corbin style" blade? Would it mess up your blade if you do this? I was thinking of doing this so I could secure the blade in a hidden holster when I don't have it in my saber. I would put the hole in the same location as where the thumb screw goes on the blade holder.

Also, does anyone have any ideas for a blade holder that I could put together?

You could, but it's not recommended. It would likely mess up the diffusion film inside the saber, not to mention weakening the blade at that point.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

Thanks. I have thought of some better ways to to store the blade when not in use anyway.
