Thread: Charge indication

    Default Charge indication

So I've just plugged in my charger for the first time to check the fit in my hilt hole. The A/V switch led pulses at 1second which seems to indicate charging but is this correct?

That would indicate that your recharge port is not wired to kill power to your electronics. You might have your negative wires swapped, and if that's the case, the battery won't charge.

The other possibility is that your AV switch isn't wired after the cutoff, in which case the AV switch LED will be on constantly and drain the battery.

We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

I must have the negatives swapped cos the kill key breaks the circuit as it should. I guess that means the negative of the charger must be going to the board not the battery.

Fixed it! Whoops! That's embarrassing. Red light on charger no light on switch. Problem solved
    Thanks SS
