Thread: How to Mount Button on Curved Interior Surface? (Guarding Latching Switch)

If Tim is gonna charge extra for it "we can probably do it... for a fee of course" then it sounds like you'd have to add on a custom work charge, in which case it wouldn't be as simple as asking for threads in the switch hole order notes. If he wouldn't charge extra, that would work, but my point about people not knowing they could request it would still stand.

Madcow posted a video about switches: http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com...hole&styleid=4
At the 6 minute mark, he goes into describing how to use a bezel on the inside.

The only question I don't know the official answer to is: "Would the bezel for the 12mm av switch be appropriate for the Guarded Switch for the inside of the saber (would it be too big, too small, or just right)?"

We can do cutouts, engraving, custom parts, grooves, flutes, knurling, switch holes, etc... All you need to do is send us a E-mail with what you want done for a quote.

This statement is not to be taken lightly. Tim has done some very impressive, intricate, and time consuming things for me lately. His work is extremely impressive and much appreciated.

Yip. He's done a couple custom pieces for me, too. Highly satisfied.

They make a box end ratchet wrench that would probably do the job. Finding one the right size and length though... good luck.
