Default First Time Working With Sound. Need Help.

So as the title says this is my first time making a saber with sound. However, I have made a stunt saber before, so I know what I'm doing... sort of. Anyway, since I'm inexperienced with sound boards, I was wondering if I need to wire a resistor between my battery and my soundboard.

The soundboard I'm using is the PRIZM 3.5

And the battery I'm using is this one:

    Welcome to the Forums.

No, the resistor does not go there. If you look through the manual (located where you purchase the sound card), there are diagrams in there that explain exactly how to wire up the Prizm.

Ok. So I just need resistors on the LEDs then?

Thanks! :) That was my original thought, but I wanted to triple check so I didn't just throw $100 down the drain.
