    Default Kagemitsu EX

This is a "version" of a Beam Saber/Photon Sword from Sword Art Online II. I changed some of the features to fit my taste, but overall you can tell what it was supposed to copy. The main tube is 1.25" raw aluminium, 1.375" shroud, some various other diameters, and a tiny bit of MHS cannibalism on a 1.25" sinktube adaptor, but the rest was raw aluminium tube. Fun stuff.

From Wikipedia: "Internet Explorer slows down GIFs if the framerate is 20 frames per second or higher and Microsoft reports that Google Chrome and Safari also slow down some GIF animations."

Nice. What type of blade did you use or one of your own blades? Looks like the Corbin blade

Thanks, all! The one in the pictures is a transwhite with about 8-10' of polyp film, and the one in the video is a clear blade with the same.

Very nice metal work. It's hard to cut straight edges like that. I'd love to be able to make layered hilts like that.

As I'm not familiar with that series, I'll not attempt to comment on content accuracy. Instead, I'll just go with this: that's one sweeeeeeeeet saber. Love the detail and the layering. Wonderful work!

Examples 3 & 4 cover straight lines and layering.
