You don't need the nylon screws anymore. You'll want a Thermal Tape Pad http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/St...-pad-P483.aspx instead.

Also, you'll need to calculate the proper resistor for each of your LEDs. The 2.2 ohm resistor is not correct for either of your Rebel LEDs, assuming you're planning on using 4x AA Alkalines.

If you decide to use the Nano Biscotte, be aware that you'll need to change a couple of things in your list. You'll have to swap your latching switch for a momentary, and you'll need a different battery solution. 6v will burn up your Nano. A single 3.7v li-ion is preferred. Your battery pack voltage will affect the resistors you use on the main LED. Also, the NB comes with one SD card, so you don't need a second unless you just want a spare.

Why two LED modules? Do you plan on swapping or just in case you change your mind on color?

Assuming jt_trouble is right, I'd suggest getting a MWS prewired LED module instead of individual stars. That way you get the quick disconnects to swap them out.

There's no need to double-post. You can just edit your last post if nobody has posted after you.

The prewired modules are a convenient method of swapping colors. I'd strongly consider doing it that way for ease of use.
