It's pretty short. Space is gonna be tight with a soundboard in there. It's possible, but I have no idea how good you are at cram-fu. The positioning of the short momentary switch looks fine.

So Silver Serpent, you'd still suggest a short switch?

I just did a quick build in inventor of my internal setup and I got an issue. I was planning on plastic cementing the battery holder to the speaker holder and then placing the Prizm card on the bottom of the battery holder. (since this won't work for the prizm card)
The issue is I do not have the room to fit the card like that on the battery holder, according to the dimensions on the site; it will hit the insides and not fit withe that configuration. (I can get a picture if you guys need clarification) Good news it my length should be good, I'll still have just about an inch to work with between the battery holder and momentary switch. Tight but okay.

I may just machine a flat area inside for the card to fit. How do you guys fit the cards and everything? Putting one ahead of the other?

This is good for keeping electronics from hitting the inside of your hilt: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/9-...bes-P1009.aspx

I like small switches. The short ones are almost always preferable, unless you're using the bezels.
