I love it! I always enjoy organic cues being put into a saber. This build is very unique and you should be proud!

Beautiful and inventive. And a first build, too! I can't imagine what you'll do in the future.
Love the Detail!!!!
My next saber is already being conceptualized. It's going to be themed on the work of artist H.R. Giger (you know, the guy who envisioned 'Alien'). I'm going to completely turn the way sabers are traditionally built around a chassis on its head. And I'm hoping to produce a few of these as a limited run. I'm so stoked, but I'm also pushing my own experience and skills so whether I succeed or not is another matter. I also have another concept that challenges the application of saber technology but this idea will require a lot of outsourced work and therefore additional costs, so it will have to wait. Thank you for your kind words by the way. This is my first saber build and I couldn't have done it without this forum and The Custom Saber Shop. I've been sculpting for a lot of years, I have qualifications in mechanical engineering, 3D parametric modelling and I'm currently working toward a degree in product design so I'm coming from relevant background. When I recently discovered the craft of saber building I immediately had to get stuck in. It encapsulates so many of the disciplines and skills I enjoy.
That sounds like an interesting and ambitious project. I've seen ONE saber so far that looks like what you're describing.

Wood (real wood or otherwise) sabers are also uncommon. I think I've seen fewer than half a dozen since I've been in the hobby. Keep up the good work.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.
