Thread: MHS sith dual sabers/staff

    Cool MHS sith dual sabers/staff

My first CF 7 build is a sith staff for a relative. I had a local machinist make claws and do some custom body cutouts. The rest is all MHS.

    Specs:
    CFv7 sound cards (hacked)
Quad Cree XP-E2 R,R,rB,G (lens holder modified for max brightness)
3400 mAh Li-ion batteries (recharge port or quick swappable)
    Easy pommel SDcard access
Animated RGB Quartz Crystal chambers with all wires hidden
Two part full shroud with rotating upper half for a CC reveal

Impressive! I like the color scheme, and the light weathering works well with that saber.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

A saber worthy of the almighty CFv7. Nicely done.

Sorry to necropost, but I'm interested in how you wired the LEDs. Did you run lines to each emitter LED from the sound card?

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."
