    Default Just a quick question

So this is something I expect will be resolved quickly. I haven't been on her in a while but hi guys!

So I took apart my saber and discovered that the LED was completely disconnected somehow...how? I haven't the foggiest, but I figured it'd be a good time to add sound. I'm just using a cheapo Hasbro soundboard but here's my question.

Every schematic I've found ranges between 3.7V-6V. I'm using a 7.4. Am I still good or do I need a different battery?

You are likely to fry the cheapo Hasbro board if you run more than 6V to it. You should either add a voltage regulator or use a different battery.

    Ok thanks!

I am using a transistor will this cover my voltage issue or do I need a separate voltage regulator? I have no idea how similar or different they are from each other so sorry if it seems like a stupid question.
