Default What is the best battery/capacitor pair for my LED's

Hey all, just wondering what would be the best battery/cap pairing for my LED's. My saber is running a tri-cree 2 Amber 1 white (for flash on clash) and I'd just like to know what would achieve the best results. Cheers!

    Welcome to the Forums!

It depends partially on what sound card you are using. Normally we don't need capacitors for LED sabers.

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."

Oh really? That's interesting. I will be using a nano-biscotti sound card, if that helps.

Yes, because we will know what board you are using and what battery solution (two large factors). When you read through the manual, you will need resistors for each of the dies in question. There are several tutorials (including one I wrote) that cover Ohm's Law.
