Default Inner ID and Speaker holder fitment

    Hello,

I looking to try to build a chassis for my first build and need to know a if the following will fit into the MHS hilt.

I'm looking to build the chassis using MHS Speaker mount 5 so I can lock it between the pommel and hilt body. I am also wanting to get milled cutouts for Grip Style 1 and install said grips. Seeing that the grips install from the inside out. Will the grips interfere with any chassis parts that are used to house the battery and sound board? Particularly the Acrylic chassis discs that are used.

Yes, the Grip Style 1 will interfere with the chassis discs. You could get Grip Style 2 instead, and it'll look the same but not intrude on the interior of the saber.

Silver Serpent, thanks for the quick reply!

It's back to the drawing board .. or should I say the MHS builder. I was kind of reluctant to use the grip strips that attach from the external side of the hilt. Read a few reviews that they can peel off with use. I plan on using the saber for some dueling and not for a show piece.

The grip set up in your sig pic look nice, may have to "borrow" the idea! :P

Those are wiper blades, held on with rivets. Not terribly comfortable. You could use screws instead, and a rubber grip material.
