Thanks for the video and the link to the chassis section. I watched the video and I had looked through the store already once but again, this is my first time making a lightsaber. I imagine that there are specific parts of the chassis that go with specific parts. What I should have asked may have been "What parts of the chassis should I get for what I am looking at buying?" I'm sure you guys get annoyed with questions like this all the time but I am completely new at this and know absolutely nothing. Even with research I don't fully understand the parts that are needed in order to make this work altogether and even the video linked gives me a small understanding of the parts that I need for the chassis. I'd ask someone I know to give me a run down but sadly I don't know anyone who has done this before so I am posting here.

You've got a 14650 side-by-side battery pack. The acrylic chassis discs for 14500 packs will work. http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Ac...s-S6-P764.aspx

You've also got a BuckPuck. There's a set of chassis discs for the MWS BuckPuck: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Ac...k-S7-P767.aspx Those should hold your BuckPuck, though you may need a little foam tape on the bottom to hold it secure, since you don't have the MWS version.

From there, it's just threaded rods, nuts, possibly the metal spacer tubes if you want them.

But this is just one option. You could also make it out of PVC pipe, use the metal chassis discs and secure with foam tape/zip ties/velcro straps, or even some method of your own devising. The important thing is to ensure that the parts don't bounce around, and that they don't make unwanted electrical contact.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

A good word of advice is to figure out your chassis first before assembling anything else. You may need to buy more parts that you'll actually use too as you figure out your own solution.

This helps a lot. What I am working with is trying to start out small and do a simple sink tube just to get the hang of things before I go full on and make the one I want. The one I am making with the sink tube will probably go to one of my nephews because if I were 10 and got given a lightsaber I would love it.

You're building a sinktube saber? That changes things a bit.

The acrylic chassis discs are sized to fit inside MHS parts. Sinktube typically has a larger ID. You could contact Tim to get some custom discs made that are sized to fit your sinktube, or you could make something yourself.

Ok, I can do that, thanks for the heads up before I bought all of it.
