Yes, you'll need some resistors for your Tri-Cree LED dice. You'll also want some kind of chassis to hold your electronics in place, so they don't just bounce around inside the hilt. TCSS has some excellent chassis parts that are very easy to assemble, and will keep your expensive electronics quite secure in your saber.

One more question: The chassis is only for holding the soundboard and the PeX so they don't touch the inner wall of the hilt correct? I see that there are chassis parts for a recharge port, but I would like to have my recharge port next to my AV switch, and I don't know how a chassis would fit around a switch
