Noob reporting in

Hi all, longtime lurker/first time poster - well, okay, more like third- or fourth-time poster. Given I've posted on the Saber Sounds board already tonight, I figured I'd better get over here and introduce myself before someone wonders who the frakkin' noob is.

My name (as you might have guessed from my user ID) is Eric Tank, and I'm a member of the 501st Legion and Rebel Legion here in Virginia. I ran into James and Ed (Tetmatek) last month at one of our troops, and was inspired to come back here and start really researching a couple of saber projects which have been in the back of my head for a while now. Not sure when I'll be able to actually WORK on them, mind you, thanks to real-life complications (ain't that always just the way?), but at least I can maybe figure out HOW to do them, whenever I can free up the funds.

Somehow, I don't think you qualify for the "Frakkin' n00b" group though.

How are bunch is able to help you with those projects that you want to get around too.
