In the end the cost will be damn near identical with how much it'll cost to ship and buy the hasbro one. I forgot to mention; the hasbro boards are extremely fragile and break way too easily. I broke mine within two weeks. Have some patience and you'll be much happier.
Honey, you've been looking for love in Alderaan places!

I'll echo what the others have said. The NB's were designed as a (better) alternative to salvaging cheapie Hasbro and other cards. Unfortunately, Erv' isn't exactly a factory, so he makes batches as he gets the parts in. Trying to "cheap out" rarely works out that well in the end.

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."

Ok so I got a hold of a hasbro cheapo Yoda. It was suler easy to open only took a tiny bit of cutting. The board inside is super small. It fit jnto my ribbed extension and is only about 1/2" long. The clash and swing sensors are mounted to the board. I actually removed the swing sensor as it was not very responsive. I am waiting on a new siwing sensor and speaker from the store. I can't believe how small the board was. Can't be any bigger than the nano biscotte. The switch was a little harder to wire as the one it had was just a pressure switch and wasn't acthally wired to the board. But it qasnt hard to figure out where to solder one too.
