Nano Biscotte V2 Wiring+Sound Problems

I have just finished wiring everything together and the only thing that works is the activation sound when I insert the battery in.
Is it safe to assume that the battery + speaker wires are all good? Is there any particular optimal order I should re-solder the wires?

I would start by checking the switch. If boot sound works, I would guess that the speaker and battery are wired up right. All that leaves is the switch and the LED. If you get nothing, you should take a look at your switch. If your activation (power up) sound and all the hums and clashes work but you get no light, you should look at the LED. But form your description, Start with the switch.

Did as you suggested and it turns out that I soldered one of the switch wires to the left of where it should have been.
All is working well now! Very glad to have finally build my very first saber
