Question Basic Saber - 4 AAA batteries

I just saw the latest video on building a basic stunt saber (http://youtu.be/xdjX5Il3SnI), and thought it would make for a good toy. I was just curious from anyone who has done this and knows, what's the typical run-time for the saber when using four AAA batteries?

About half an hour. A little longer if you don't mind a dim blade. Li-ion is a much better solution, and it's less intimidating now that TCSS sells premade packs.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

No doubt Li-ion would be better in terms of electricity provided. I already went with that for the serious saber build underway. I have the AAAs in mind for just a couple of toys that I could whip together for the kids. They're still fairly young, and their attention spans aren't very long anyway.

    Thanks for the information!
