Hello everyone!

Don't let my join date fool you, I've been lurking here for a coupla years, reading, researching, and planning. I'm almost ready to pull the trigger and build my first saber. I bought my soldering iron, ESD safe, as well as most of the other shop supplies/equipment I should need to get started. I plan on building a simple saber to begin with and upgrading later as I get more experience. I also have about six (currently) other hilt designs floating around in my head, so I don't plan on stopping at one (and I've already figured out that this is going to be an expensive hobby) I look forward to learning a lot and having fun.

Welcome. It's good to see someone who has done lots of research beforehand. If you run into any questions that you can't find the answers to, don't be afraid to ask.

Welcome! I was also a long time lurker till I finally signed up. You find that most of the questions you are sure to have, have already been answered. I bookmark every bit of information from all kinds of threads because Im pretty sure the info will come in handy. Anyways good luck on your build and dont forget to show it off!
