HMS V1 over V2

Hi everyone im pretty new to the saber building thing and i had a few questions. The major one being the difference between HMS V1 or V2. Can i use a V1 bladeholder with V2 everything else?

The MHS V1 is the older design. It has a 1.45 inch outer diameter and a 1.25 inch (mostly, chokes are different) inner diameter. The V2 has a 1.3 inch outer diameter and a 1.0 inch inner diameter. There is an adapter to go between them: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Ma...pter-P931.aspx , that shows a V1 blade holder in the adapter.
