Default New guy needs an lil help

Hi I am an bit of a new guy
and I am not so very skilled with electronic stuff.

and normaly I cosplay deadpool but now I waned to make for fun an star wars inspired deadpool costume.
with offcourse a couple of lightsabers.

I got an lil idea for how to make a hilt.

but for the electronics and the blade part I need an lil help

I want to take the electronics from this light saber

and for the blade part I want to use these thingies

is this idea going to work or do I need to add some parts
I must say I am on a low budget especialy when shipping is arround 40 dollars to my country.

Well, not owning one of those Darth Vadar saber toys, I can't be 100% sure, but since it has a red plastic blade, it probably has a white light on the inside, and most likely not a very bright one so I wouldn't expect any note-worthy blade illumination with that polycarb blade. Aside from that, you'll have to deal with removing the plastic blade and installing the polycarb. Once again, not owning that saber, I can't say what the diameter of the blade socket is, but if it isn't a good fit for the new blade, it could be a pain in the butt to install and if you're using the light that comes in the saber, you'd have to make sure you install the new blade where the light will shine down the blade.

If your budget is really low, I think you might just be better off using the original saber without modifying it.

    Just my 2 cents.

well the plan is to only take electronics from inside the toy saber and dumb all the other parts.
I will be making the hilt of a pvc pipe wich I will buy after I order and receive the tube so I can judge the size better for wih pipe I need to take.
and if the research I did is right this toy saber got an soundboard with speaker clash detector and an LED
