    Default Graflex socket variations

    Hi Everyone,

I would really like to see what creative ideas people have came up with for the Graflex synchronization sockets.

While doodling with my build I came up with a few variants of the two pin layout that I want to share.
They're not wild and crazy, but I find it's the little details that make a difference.

A standard socket with two short Graflex electrical pins:

Using the brass connector plate in a reverse direction and ageing with brass black:

Removing one of the pins so the blade light can shine through:

Mixing a short and long pin together:

Using a 3-48 cap screw. I had to file the thread down a little so it doesn't protrude into the blade holder chamber. I've also lightly sanded it to age it a little. I might try using some brass paint to match it closer to the pin:

The long piece of brass connector that normally attaches to the pin under the red button is used here. I trimmed and shaped the piece to span across both pins, and drilled a secondary hole. Aged with brass black:

Replacing one of the pins with the cap screw:

If you have other ideas please post pictures
