    Default A little help

Back in 2011 I had all intentions of ordering my parts to build my saber. For some reason it never went through. O well. But now I want to build it part by part when I can afford to buy stuff. There was some mill work in the list that I am kinda confused by. Maybe someone could enlighten me on what I was thinking.

Things have changed a bit since 2011. You might want to start over and give yourself a chance to review the new options available. For one, the new LED heatsinks don't use the nylon screws. We use a thermal adhesive pad instead.

I see you have holes for the switch box, the blade retention screw, and for mounting your covertec button. Nothing out of the ordinary.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

Thanks for the advice. I have looked around and it seems like Im out of loop with what is new. I can tell just by looking at sound card models.

I agree with SS, you should really just start over.

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."
