Lightsaber blade question
Okay so I know it is kinda sad and common but For my first lightsaber I've decided to go with This:

For the reason that I still looks alright even without a ton of tools I don't have access to. I figured it's a good stepping stone for a larger world of saber crafting. However, while I think I can figure out the wiring, I was curious if I would still need the sinktube blade holder from here or if that wouldnt fit (theoretically) and I would have to find some way to improvise. Thank you in advance.

I got the sink drain, but the diameter is too small for a sink tube blade holder. Is there another way to hold a blade in there?

Duck tape (or maybe a thinner, wider tape, like masking)? Around the blade? I am not an accomplished saber maker by any means, but this is what I would do.

Makes sense, I'm just curious how secure it would be to swing

OK New idea, Using the piece in question as a bottom (just go with it :P) Would the knob-hole thingy work as a recharge port hole? Or would that need to go elsewhere?
