Although they are currently out of stock, the Nano Biscotte board is the easiest board to install for a beginner. Read through the user's manual located on the store page here: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Na...e-V2-P806.aspx and you'll get a very thorough guide on how to wire it up.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

If you are using a momentary switch now, you could re-use that, otherwise you would need to swap that out for momentary switch. Ditto with your battery pack (the NB uses mainly a 3.7 Li-ion battery).

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."
