Thread: Connecting different sized sink tubes

Default Connecting different sized sink tubes

My plan involves sliding/screwing pieces of 1 1/2 inch sink tube over the 1 1/4 inch sink tube. I've decided to ask around here to figure out how to do it because there is a little gap between them naturally. Any advice?

a little bit of electrical tape or aluminum tape to create a uniform gap all the way around the tube?

    You want this one:
MHS to 1.5 sink tube adapter
    It fits inside a 1.5" and over a 1.25"

Rathan posted a build log using both sizes of sink tube back in April, 2010

Anything a little... Smaller? Im sorta going for small segments. If that wont work I can rework the desgin

1.25" sinktube fits just inside a standard MHS piece. 1.5" sinktube fits just outside a standard MHS piece.

Get a spare piece of MHS, and cut it down to the length you need.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

You mean just a simple piece of MHS? Like the double female? Could you do that with a hand saw (cuz thats what I got). Heres a pic of what Im trying for ba283ce0-29d1-4668-af55-9949bd6c23f7_zps730aefa9.jpg
