    Cool Hello from Georgia, USA!

    Found CSS while looking for a better option for a light saber than the plastic crap that always breaks within a year, and costs 1/3 of what a CSS saber does. Just got my parts via UPS, and I will be building my first saber with/for my 10 yo son. Now that I have it in my hand though, I want one for me. Here is the saber he designed:

    I opted for a simple light circuit with no sound, but wanted rechargeable capability, so I went with a 7.4 v 1050 mAh battery pack, a 1000 mA buckpuck, and a rebel star blue module. I'll post up some picks in the proper location once it's done. Just saying "hey" for now.

    Hello and welcome to the forum. I look forward to seeing your son's saber, and your next one for you... lol. Its hard to build just one saber. I am about 1/3 through my first one, and already planning a second, and possibly a fourth. It is hard to stop actually.
