Thread: wondering about my order

    Question wondering about my order

Firstly, I don't want to take Tim away from his work as that would take away from his shop time so I hope anyone else can answer,
including other customers sharing their experiences.

Also... I've seen the note on the store's front page saying
"Most orders ship within a couple days, but items that need machining or building may take up to 2 weeks to fill"
    (slightly paraphrased)

All these items were listed "in-stock" when I placed my order (Oct. 1st)
    - 1: D-ring belt mount
    - 1: MHS speaker and 2x AA battery holder
    (w/ bass speaker)
    - 1: LED "Corbin style" Battle blade 1" OD (36 inches)
    (quad wrap, standard tip)
    - 2: JST connector kit(s) male and female
    - 1 ft: 24 g wire (Blue)
    - 1 ft: 24 g wire (White)
    - 1: Super Lube Synthetic Grease

So anyways, I'm just curious if it's the blade that might be causing the delay, like are they made to order?
Everything else I've purchased has shipped in just a few days (even my powder coated blade holder, wow).
This order (46342) is still listed "In Progress"

Heck, mine's been IN PROCESS since September 26th...I've learned just to roll with it. My Hopi grandmother used to say 'anything good is worth waiting for.'

Sounds like a wise lady. Too bad I never got to know either of my grandmothers. They had both passed on before I was born.
What Ive seen here is better than good... imho TCSS is the best place for diy sabers.

I'd love some kind of display stand for my now (almost) complete saber, but living in an apartment I kind of doubt my landlord would
appreciate holes being drilled in the wall to properly mount it.

    ---
edit to add: All it's missing is sound, but unfortunately the starter crapped out on my car recently and now that's going to eat the $
I had been budgeting for an NBv2, and significantly more, so the saber is going to have to stay in it's current stunt form for the
    foreseeable future.

Those are nice, my preference would be to display with the blade attached, so something
like this vertical stand is what I was wanting:

It'd be pretty sweet if one could be designed for sale here, but with 3M Command adhesive
instead of screws for wall mounting. That way there'd be no wall holes, and so no deductions
in returning my security deposit assuming I ever move out of my apartment.

    Do you hear that?

The one you listed should also fit an MHS-based saber. It should be possible to use the 3M strips to hold it to the wall as well. Minor modifications might be required.

I've got two of those up on my wall right now being held up with 3M strips instead of screws (for the same reasons) - it can be done!

There's this new thing....called "Spackle". It is an amazing invention for filling tiny screw holes in walls
