PCv3 Problem

So I've run into an interesting problem. I'm trying to wire up my Petit Crouton V3 and I like to test everything along the way. I have my speaker wired up and my battery is wired up. I wire up my activation switch to test it (I'm using Tactile Switch 22, the silver dome one) because I've never used it before.

I plug in the battery, I get my boot sound and the saber instantly powers on by itself. I press the button to power off the saber and the board powers back on by itself. I removed the switch, thinking that was the issue. So I plug my battery back in to test it, just in case, and the same problem repeats.

Has anyone encountered anything like this before? I honestly have no idea what to do, because I've barely done anything with this board yet. It obviously isn't the switch since the problem persists without the switch wired in. Is it the battery? The board? More importantly, what do I do to fix this?

Check the "switch" setting on the SD card config.txt file. Set "switch=2" for a momentary switch.

Upon checking, all three sound banks had "switch=2" already set.

The battery should be the last thing you connect. Is there a recharge port? If not, then it sounds like you have a bridge somewhere.

The battery was being connected by a JST for the sake of testing. There was not a recharge port at the time. I'll go double-check the board, see if anything if bridged.

I'm charging the battery as I type this. Covering all my bases.

Did you check to see if there is a switch setting in the override file?

Yup, I feel like an idiot. Changed that setting from 0 to 2, rewired the battery and a switch and it worked perfectly fine.
