Lyra Saber ver1

My first saber build please pardon the low quality of the photos they where taken with my cellphone.
This saber was inspired by Lyra Heartstrings form MLP:FIM

This is not the first take on this character Yoshi-Taka inspired me

The blade is orange I ordered Amber (rebel star) but with small order LEDs it is a bit of a random draw
Wile I was intending for her usual magical aura. it did turn orange for a short bit wile she was a judge

The citrine in the crystal chamber is lit by a separate LED and held by 4 reinforced plastic disks

I'll be making Bon Bon later and will be connecting with Lyra as a saber staff

I've not met the horse but I like the saber. Good looking bright blade and overall shape. Can you take a sharper picture of the crystal chamber?

Looks like my three sabers have some competition.

The cutie mark is an extremely nice touch. I would really like to see some clear pictures of this one, because it looks a lot like something I would build.

Very nice form! The amber is lovely, I wish I could see more detail of the crystal chamber.

Sick sabers! Are you going to do the Mane 6 or the rest of the Background Mane 6? Or did you just make Lyra's for fun? ;P

I'm doing the background Mane 6
I just haven't figured out Time turner's/Dr. Whooves yet but I'll get around to his.
