    Default First saber part list

    Hey guys

So I'm building my first saber and since I don't live in the US so I wanted to run my parts list past you guys so I can get everything I need, or might need in the future, at once.

So I'm getting a few things I'm not planing to use right away like the RICE and the PLI, otherwise the rest I'm planing to put together for my prototype.

My wishlist contains all this stuff and some other things http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Vi...shlistId=33972

    Thanks in advance.

You'll need a resistor for the LED in your AV switch. You can use the DynaOhm resistor, or calculate an appropriate resistor value for that LED. The DynaOhm costs a bit more, but doesn't require any math. If you'd like to save a buck or two, use the resistor calculator in my signature. Either way is appropriate.

You have an extra SD card for your PCv3. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Some people like to have a spare with other fonts/setup/etc. But the PCv3 does come with a SD card already.

I don't see any other issues. It looks like you've done your homework. Good luck with your build!
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

http://led.linear1.org/1led.wiz for the lazy man's resistor calculator!
http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com...e-to-Ohm-s-Law for getting resistor values the right way!
