Default 2nd Saber - Electronics list

I'm making a dark side-ish saber for a friend and could use a double-check on the electronics list (switch, resistance, etc.). Thanks!

    NB Board & harness
    Li-Ion 18650 3.7V 3400mAh PCB Protected Rechargeable Battery
    2.1 mm power jack
    Luxeon Rebel Star (Deep Red)
    1ohm 2w resistor
    MWS Standard Style Momentary Switch
28 mm speaker & speaker mount
Heat sink, lens, all that jazz

S2.jpg This is what it'll look like, but with gold bands instead of silver.

    Sounds good to me.

That resistor doesn't look right to me. Rebel DR is 2.4v @ 700mA. With a 3.7v li-ion pack, you're looking at closer to a 2.2 ohm resistor.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

SS is right, I misread the resistor, you need the 2 ohm, 1W resistor for that.

Whoops! Thanks for catching that - I guess I swapped the numbers around somewhere in my head.
