For those that are looking for saber crystals

For those who are looking for crystals to use in there lightsaber hilts, I was at my local Michael's a few days ago and for Christmas time they are selling these bags of crystals(much different that the ones usually stocked) in clear, red, and green. Some are shaped like the ones usually sold that are made to look like ice and stuff. But the other ones are shaped very uniformly and stuff, I believe they are made be used as ornaments but when I saw them, lightsabers immediately came to mind.

COOOOOOOOL.Were they real stone like quartz or were they glass?

MCs are plastic with one quartz in it that is real. i don't know abou the michaels crystals but i would assume that they too are plastic

Yeah the Michael's crystals are plastic, but the bags have like 20 or 30 assorted crystals in them, many of which are the same ones shown on that ebay auction in clear, dark green, and red(not pink)

Very cool!Does anyone know where to get quartz crystals,or maybe glass crystals,they might be too fragil but you never know.

The quartz crystals I have would cost you about $5.00. But you might find a better deal on ebay.

I need a long thin quarts crystal. It will be lit by a 3-watt royal blue led.I dont need it yet but i have to measure so yeah.
