Thread: Difference between Polycarbonate and Trans White PolyC blades?

Here's what I have in my cart now. Once again, feedback greatly appreciated!!

    $10.99 -- 1" Thick Walled Polycarbonate blade
    + $0.50 -- Cut to either 30" or 32"
$3.50 -- 1" Shouldered reflective blade tip for 1" thick walled blade, clear
$3.95 -- Diffuser tube for 1" thick walled blade
    $1.50 -- Color disks
    $10.99 -- Covertec belt clip
= $31.34 (less than the "completed blade" alone?)

I plan on using a 9-LED white mini flashlight to light this for now. I have an older, cracked, clear 30" tube I set up with the flashlight how I will have it. Since the tube is different and doesn't have a diffuser or reflective tip, I can't make a real comparasin, but the light does carry out past the tip, albiet not evenly along the length.

    So, feedback is appreciated!!

A similar question was asked recently on FX-Sabers' forums, and it got some very good responses from people with years of experience building sabers and blades: http://www.fx-sabers.com/forum/index.php?topic=44356.0
