Thread: Nano Biscotte Accent LED very dim, not off during deep sleep

Default Nano Biscotte Accent LED very dim, not off during deep sleep

First of all I apologise if this has been answered elsewhere, I looked but couldn't find anything on the topic.

    - When using the provided accent LED pad on the NB the accent LED will remain on even when the board enters deep sleep - as expected and documented.
    - When using the resistor pad hack, discussed in the user manual, the LED will *almost* go out when the board enters deep sleep but not completely, it's very dim and probably drawing a mA or so (I haven't measured it). I tried different LEDs and tester leads to bench test.

Of course inserting the kill plug cuts power completely so it's not a huge issue and I'm happy with that. I wondered if anyone else had experienced this behaviour?

Thanks to everyone here for their posts and assistance, it's been a great help!

That's how it works on the PC and CF as I recall.

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."

That's all I needed to hear! Thanks FJK!

I used a tri-rebel on this build and the royal blue with red produces an excellent purple. I've been very happy with the NB - many thanks to Erv' and anyone involved in its inception.

    Cheers guys!
