Thread: MHS v2!

  1. #1

    Default MHS v2!

So there are some new MHS double female extensions in the store as of yesterday. Not really enough parts for a full MHS V2 saber, but enough to experiment with on V1.

Is anybody building anything with them? I ordered an extension and two v1 to v2 couplers for my first-ever MHS build. I'll be using the thinner MHS v2 extension as a section for either leather or paracord (probably the latter) grips so it won't add bulk to my build.

Anyone else have some good ideas?

I can't wait for more V2 parts to come out so I can build a full saber with them...

I'm sure a sizable number of v2 parts were sold yesterday. I'm sure it won't be long before we see v2 sabers posted on the forums.

Paracord wrap sounds interesting. I'd like to see that.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

I believe this is a build using the new parts.

First thing that came to my mind was an Ashoka Tano saber using the V2 6" double female and a V1-V2 adapter. The 6" V2 piece would be cut as a shroud for the front with 1"OD 7/8" ID inner tube. The back would be a V1 2" double female. Pommel would need to be custom machined or "adapted".

That's is what I will be building with V2 parts.

Does anyone know if these part will be intergrated with the MHS builder? Would be nice to see what a V2 concept saber would look like
