Default Best blade setup for white LEDs?

After several days of scouring the forums, I've finally decided to open a thread. I'm looking to get a 40" thick-walled dueling blade because I'm a 7ft tall monstrosity. I wanted to hear some opinions on which blade and/or film combinations project the best white blade. I'm running atek 3W Cree LEDs and I have no intention to use color filters with this saber, if that makes things easier. Thanks!

In my experience, dual diffused blades look the best. Poly wrap on the inside, clear tubing with some light sanding on the surface to frost the blade just a touch. Makes for a very nice finish. Transwhite blades with white leds look like a flourescent light.

Another thing I would recommend is something more powerful than a 3w for a 40" blade. At that length, a 3 watt will have a hard time full illuminating the blade to the tip. Try a tri cree cool white and you should be happier.
