Blade flicker?

I'm about to convert 2 Anakin ROTS and a Darth Vader ESB, and I was curious, is there anyway to get the blade to flicker? My plan was to get the seoul P4 LED, but I was curious if there was something else I could get to get it to flicker.

I would think you can convert them to NB board pretty easily... the hardest part would be the switch which is latching while the NB needs a momentary.

I was experimenting the same idea. Well, not all FX are the same, it all depents on the vintage. I disassembled my Darth Vader wrb, it has 3 Pins connecting the battery holder/speaker, I figured out that the Speaker + goes directly to Vdd and the Speaker - is an open-drain drive. Maybe it's too much nomenclature, important is, that you can hook a single transistor to the Speaker - to have an LED flicker to the rythim of the humming.
