Few questions about blade holder

Ok I have my lightsaber and it's a variant of four different sabers in one. I am trying to make a shroud piece to go on the blade holder.

First, the saber.

The blade holder is style 20 with short pins and on the anakin/luke saber there is a piece here. Has anyone ever put a shroud here because I would really like to have that there.
For the shroud piece I was thinking I could use one one these http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Ha...-kit-P663.aspx and cutting some of it off and painting it black like the anakin saber and drilling some holes in the back to screw it on the blade holder.

Unfortunately, the link you posted won't work at a shroud piece. It won't fit over the MHS part. If you'd like a shroud piece, you will most likely need to cut it yourself. You can buy some shroud material from TCSS and then look through the tutorials on here for "using a dremel" and other various threads. While you are right Takanis, I think we need more confirmation on what exactly he's wanting. From my understanding, he wanted the part he linked to be on the inner side of his current BH, so it would be around the blade, not the BH like a shroud. The wording is throwing me off.

It's ok Takanis. We know it takes practice to think coherently immediately after becoming conscious again.

Judging from pictures alone, it looks like your idea could work for cutting down the conversion kit and attaching it inside the style 20 BH. I don't have it on hand, and I don't know if the diameter of the older MR conversion kit is the same as the Hasbro, though I would assume that would be the case. So for a definitive answer, someone else would have to chime in. Or you could just see it as a slightly expensive experiment and buy the conversion kit to test out.
