This is a spare parts saber I built to experiment with my "ultra-cheap" $12 sound solution. For wiring details, please reference this thread: http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com...eap-Soundboard

    Details:
    Lux III Red
    4x AA Battery Pack
Old-style 1.25" sink tube blade holder
    Ultracheap sound solution

The main body is a 1.25" sink tube. The overlays are 1.5" PVC that I roughed up with some course grit sandpaper and then painted flat black. It turned out about how I wanted it to: Basic, simple, and practical. It is very comfortable to use single or double handed. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Check out that old-school heat sync and blade holder! (I've had these parts for quite a while.)

Cool. Great way to put old parts to use. I really like the black PVC overlays. Those really sell it for me, especially how there's a break in the middle. Nice work.

Nice. This gives me ideas to use with the natural mhs sleeve. =] I do also like the simple design. Its like if a Sith didn't care how his lightsaber looked as long as he has one.
