Default PC 3.0 AV switch led and Color Xtender question

Hello everyone. I'm wiring up my first PC v3 saber and the owners manual has been most helpful, but I'm left with some questions...

I have a white ring AV switch I want to wire in as "always on" once the kill key is pulled and I'm wanting it to remain a constant brightness and not react with the blade effects. The Foc1 pad is listed in the manual as the proper place to solder my AV led positive, but it is also listed as the connecting point to color channel 2 on the Color Xtender. Should both be wired to this pad and they'll work properly? Do I have to wire my switch led to a different pad since I'm using the Color Xtender?

    Thank you and MTFBWY!

There should be a 3.3V pad (round pad near the FoC1 pad), that's where the AV switch LED should be attached to.

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."

You can always just wire it to the + to - battery pads on the PC. just make sure you resistor it based on the voltage on your battery pack.

The 3.3V pad was specifically designed to handle what Djem-So was asking for.

It's small, but I do see it now. Your help is greatly appreciated
