    Default PC 3.0 FoC Question

Hi all. It's been a while since I did my last saber. I'm a little rusty and just wanted to run this by someone before I go ahead and do it.

I'm going to be installing a PC 3.0 with a B,B,W Tri-Rebel, and 7.4v Li-ion 14500 Battery Pack. The main blade colour will be via the 2 Blue die the white will be used for FoC. My question is, instead of installing a 2512 2W SMD resistor directly onto the board, am I Ok to bridge the SMT Footprint and install an external 4.7ohm 5w resistor to drive the white FoC die?

    Thanks
    Rich

    Yes. That is perfectly acceptable.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.
