Thread: Can you lend a helping hand?

Default Helping hand needed for sound fonts.

So for quite some time I have been trying to make my own sound font for the Petit Crouton. I have all of the sounds recorded and mixed, and I have gone through almost every step in the tutorials on this forum and the Plecter Labs website. Despite my repeated efforts, I have never been able to get my sound font to work.
If you are good with custom sound fonts and you wouldn't mind taking a look at my files and fixing whatever needs to be fixed so they can work on a Petit Crouton, that would be an amazing favor. If you get the font to work and you like it, you can keep a copy of it.
If anyone can do me this solid, that would be awesome.
    Thanks.

One of two things is likely blocking your efforts.

    1. Files are in the wrong format or named incorrectly. They must be .wav files, 16 bit, 22 khz. Be sure they have the correct name, and it must be all lowercase. Be sure you haven't accidentally named them poweron.wav.wav as can sometimes happen if you're using a Windows system with file extensions hidden.

    2. You didn't format the SD card. Every time you want to change even a single sound file on the SD card, you need to do a FULL format, and then recopy all the files at once.

If you've tried all those things, then shoot me a PM and I can give you my email so that I can look the files over myself.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.
