Crystal chambers, did you use multiple colors over a black base? It looks like there are some charcoals and well as white in the pattern.

    Thanks guys.

Defcon4 - I swirled light grey, medium, and black at the same time over a black base. Your method worked great for one colour. To get the same results you did I would have used metallic and charcoal over metallic. Like this method but not black...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAmvavELsFw

I obsessed over swirls for the last year or two. They're are a lot of possibilities. I'm not a fan of this idea but you actually do CARBON FIBER! There's a similar process called hydro dipping where you can disolve a print on the top of the water and dip through an image. You can order the print and chemical spray or you can make the print at home if you buy the ink and paper. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MN4PS7ZJeYY

    Hey, CC

The guitar dip was very cool. I guess the principle is the same, but the technique used for the guitar is a bit more complex in its steps and produces amazing results. I have been looking at some of the hydro dip videos for a few weeks...Also very cool. They sell the hydro film and the chemical activator on ebay. I'd love to try my hand at both of these.

I'm a little further along on the Damascus hilts.

This is really cool. I'll have to try this on my next saber. Since it would work with any colors I bet it would make for some really cool combinations

Very nice, I like the blue one especially. Good choice letting the steel texturing do the work and leaving the rest of the saber relatively spartan to help highlight it.
