    Default The Beacon - EDIT: Added Custom Box

    May I present The Beacon. Here are the Specs

    Brass and Copper Hilt
    Rebel Cyan LED
    MR Mace Windu Sound Board
    Pololu switch
    2W Bass Speaker
    Recharge Port
    4.8V Nimh

    I etched the saber's name into the saber.

    I love the use of copper on this saber! I'd like to see more copper incorporated into shroud-work for sure. What is the nipple (for lack of a better word) in the middle of the emitter?

    If you're referring to the small black dot, it looks like a 2.1mm recharge port that's been flush mounted.

    Which looks awesome, btw.

    Looks great. I was thinking of trying some copper overlays on my next project. What kind of pipe/tubing did you use?

    1.25 brass
    1 1/4 Copper piper type K which has 1.375 outer diameter and close to 1.25 inner diameter.

    Yes that is a flush mounted recharge port.
