This http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Ac...k-S3-P813.aspx works well for 18650 or 18500 batteries, and it gives you a convenient slot to run wires through. http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Ac...s-S6-P764.aspx works well with a side-by-side 14500 pack.

Thank-you Silver Serpent & FJK. The information will go a long way for my first saber.

I guess my last few questions would be this: What retention screw do I need for the Light Saber, what service do I select to have them drill and tap it on the blade holder and what is the best blade

The "Drill and Tap Hole" in Services works well. http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Dr...Hole-P193.aspx

I usually use 8-32 screws for blade retention screws. Thumbscrews are nice if they work with your design. Set screws are good for a hidden look, but require a hex key to remove the blade. Just be sure the screw is long enough to go through the wall of the blade holder.

Best blade? There really isn't one. It's just a matter of personal preference. I like the thin-walled transwhite blades with a few feet of cellophane wrap in them. Other people prefer different styles.
