Hasbro Kit Fisto Conversion Problems
I should be happily explaining that I've successfully completed converting a Kit Fisto force fx to a green Luxeon Rebel Star.
I followed Jay Gon's step-by-step for the Hasbro Anakin force fx because the boards are identical, and my wiring is identical to the pics he has posted. And I'm encouraged by my work because when I flip the switch, I get sound and light all as it should be.
The problem is that as soon as I connect the battery pack to the board, the LED comes on half-brightness. Flip the switch and it powers up full brightness and sound, swing, and clash. Powers off and LED stays on half-bright. All my solder joints are clean.
Even stranger still, I tried de-soldering the switch wires from the board completely, and the LED still comes on half-bright when power's connected.
I am officially stumped, but I'm convinced its something stupid and simple.
Thanks for any help.

¿Maybe something related with the cut-off switch? Or even a tiny solder bridge... I would check that.
