Thread: aaa battery holders

    Default aaa battery holders

Does anyone know where to get them? I don't see them in store anywhere and would be happy resisting less in my stunt builds.

Or are there any AAA dummy cells?

    Thanks!

Trying to find 3AAA. I am doing a build project with my summer camp kids for next years Jedi themed camp and trying to minimize some of my soldering since I will be helping to build 30+ pvc hilts in two weeks.

I know that saberforge uses 3aaa's and I figure that he has to get them from *somewhere*.

There are a few big name electronics suppliers on the web. A quick Google search should turn them up.

Well I had exactly the same problem in Europe some days ago. I don't know any USA stores for that because Shipping from other side of the Ocean is too expensive for me, but I found them in Spain ( Shoptronica ) and in Poland ( TME; Transfer Multisort Electronik ).
If you are in the Old continent those shops will be very usefull for you.

We're going to need a little more information than that. You say your battery pack is overheating and the batteries are leaking? What type of batteries are you using, and how many? Are they li-ion, NiMH, alkaline? What LED are you using for your blade?

If you're using AAA alkalines with a Petite Crouton, you're very likely drawing more current than the batteries can safely provide. I would strongly consider changing to a 7.4v li-ion pack.

Im using a Seoul P4 LED for my blade and for the batteries im just using the 4 pack triple A holder with energizer batteries, very basic I should have just used the Li-ion pack to begin with I see my issue thank you very much for your input. It was very helpful.
