Latching Kill Switch?

I am building my first saber and using a nano biscotte, 3.7V li-Ion battery, two momentary switches w/ box (one for looks), an extra latching switch, rebel LED, and all necessary components. My question is can I run the latching switch between my nano biscotte and my battery pack and use it as a kill switch? It does not have an accent LED or anything. It seems like it would work but I could be totally wrong. I would like to use this method as I have three switch holes and this way two of them can be useful. Thanks in advance

That would work just fine, it's basically the same way a recharge port and kill key work, just opens the ground between the battery and board.
