Wiring help

Hey guys so I am not very good with wiring and have some questions I was hoping you guys could help me figure this out. I am going for just a normal saber no sound with a recharge port. I want to use the MWS but I am confused with some aspects.
1) Do I need a BuckPuck?
2) Where do I connect the recharge port to the battery and then the buckpuck? after the buckput between the led?
3) If I want to ad a accent light where do I need a resistor and where does that connect.
4) Is this a good battery to get or is this overkill http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/74...Pack-P725.aspx
5) Very scared with ION batteries is there anything I should know?

Here's a VERY useful thread on here regarding recharge ports. There is a ton of good info throughout the thread: http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com...ge-port-hookup

In the diagram in that thread, you are going to treat the BuckPuck as you would treat the "board". You will have your (+) from your battery pack AND your BuckPuck going to a single leg on the recharge port. You will want to use the shortest leg for this connection. The (-) from your battery pack will go to the middle leg on the recharge port. The (-) from the BuckPuck will connect to the longest leg of the recharge port.

Then, you will hook-up your LED to the LED (+) and (-) coming from the BuckPuck. I usually put my switch in-between the negative lead that is coming from the longest leg of the recharge port to the negative of the BuckPuck.

For an accent LED with this setup, I'd probably recommend attaching it's (+) to the shortest leg of the recharge port (with the other 2 positive leads) and then it's (-) to the section AFTER the switch that is coming from the longest recharge port leg. CAUTION: You must use a resistor with the accent LED!!!! Place the appropriate value resistor just before the negative leg of the accent LED. You DO NOT need a resistor for the main LED if you're using a BuckPuck.

Here's a link to a pic of a basic setup that I did a while ago. This setup is the same as explained above except that it doesn't have a switch attached yet and it isn't wired for an accent LED.
